Our Story
Every homeowner needs a hero for their roof. That is why we launched HomeHero Roofing, to bring reliable service, clean jobsites, and straightforward pricing to Chicago’s western suburbs. In 2026 we opened a second office at 14 W Burlington Ave in downtown La Grange. Downers Grove covers the DuPage side of our service area, and La Grange covers west Cook and the near west suburbs. Each office has its own crew, phone, and hours. Matt Balducci
CEO and Co-Owner
Born and raised in Chicago’s south suburbs, now in Downers Grove with his wife and two kids. Matt started in home services at 19 while at the University of Illinois, then spent close to a decade in roofing at high-volume companies like Brothers Services Company and National Services Group, where crews completed thousands of roofs a year. He later moved to the technology side of the industry, working with top operators across the country. That mix of field and back-office knowledge is what he brought to HomeHero on day one. Outside work he coaches youth sports, travels, powerlifts, and plays pickleball.
Andre Kazimierski
President and Co-Owner
Born and raised in Chicago’s western suburbs, with 20+ years building home service companies. Andre launched and scaled 3rd Gen Painting and Remodeling, later acquired, co-founded the venture-funded platform Improovy, and runs Sophia’s Cleaning Service, a La Grange landmark since 1984. At HomeHero Roofing he focuses on growth, branding, and the technology that keeps estimates and communication fast. He lives in La Grange Highlands with his wife, Carol, and their dogs, Bruno and Alice. When he is not working on the business, you will find him at the gym or on the pickleball court.
Gina Casale
General Manager
More than 20 years leading operations in the home improvement industry. Gina helped build The Window Guys from the ground up to $15 million in revenue, then ran operations for 100+ employees across Window Works and Jacuzzi of Chicago as they grew past $50 million in annual installations. She brings that same operational focus to every HomeHero project, and homeowners notice. Outside of ownership, Gina is the person named most often in our customer reviews, usually for responsiveness and follow-through. Away from the office she volunteers with a local youth wrestling program and tends her flower garden.
Christian Garcia
Sales Representative
Christian took on remodeling projects with family and friends as a teenager, then went straight into the trades after school and spent about four years working as a brick mason. He also co-founded a home improvement business with his childhood best friend, which is where he learned the homeowner side of the work. Now he puts both halves together, reading a roof like a tradesman and explaining the options in plain language. His name is climbing our review board faster than anyone else’s on the team. Off the clock he plays basketball, backs the Rams in a Bears office, and is learning golf.
Franco Mercado
Sales Representative
Franco is a former Marine and a combat veteran, born and raised in the Chicago area and living in Oak Park today. The service taught him to show up on time, work hard, and take care of the people around him, and that is how he treats every homeowner he meets. This is his community, so being on your roof feels personal. He is known on the team for his photo walkthroughs, annotating shots so you can see exactly where water is getting in and why. Outside work he is in the gym most days, and the best part of his day is time with his wife and two kids.

Do you require a deposit?
No. There is no deposit and no money upfront. You pay when the job is complete and you’re satisfied with the work. That is part of the Honest Roof Guarantee, along with the itemized estimate and the 10-year transferable warranty.
What warranty do you offer?
Full roof replacements include a 10-Year Transferable Workmanship Warranty, which stays with the home if you sell it. Many roofing contractors only offer 1 to 2 years. Owens Corning shingles carry a separate limited lifetime manufacturer warranty. Read the full warranty terms.

Do you help with insurance claims?
Yes. When storm damage is involved we photograph the roof, document what we find, and help you file the claim with your carrier. We’re a retail roofer rather than a claims operation, so we help you through the process and never promise an outcome. In Illinois, roofing contractors cannot act as public adjusters, and we stay on the right side of that line.
