1. Introduction

HomeHero Roofing PLLC is a licensed and insured roofing contractor in Illinois (IL Roofing License Nos. 104.019924 / 105.010799), locally owned and operated by Andre Kazimierski and Matt Balducci. By using our roofing or gutter services, you agree to these Terms.

2. Services

We provide residential roofing and exterior services, including:

• Roof installation, replacement, and maintenance
• Roof inspections and storm damage repair
• Skylight and flashing repair
• Attic venting and insulation
• Seamless gutter installation, repair, and gutter guard systems

3. Quotes and Estimates

Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Pricing may change due to material costs, labor, or unforeseen conditions.

4. Payment Terms

• Payment schedules may vary by project size and materials.
• Some projects may require deposits and progress payments; smaller projects may be billed at completion.
• Full payment is due upon completion unless otherwise specified.
• Invoices not paid within 15 days are subject to 2% per month interest.
• Warranties are valid only when all invoices have been paid in full.

5. Scheduling and Cancellation

• Services are scheduled by mutual agreement.
• Clients may cancel within 3 business days of signing (per Illinois law).
• Rescheduling is subject to availability.

6. Warranties and Guarantees

• 10-Year Workmanship Warranty (Full Roof Replacements): Years 1-10 labor and materials covered.
• 2-Year Workmanship Warranty (Repairs): Applies only to workmanship in repair areas. Preexisting conditions outside the repair area are excluded.
• Manufacturer Warranties: Provided by Owens Corning, IKO, and others.
• 100% Satisfaction Guarantee: Applies to full roof replacements and repairs. Clients must allow HomeHero Roofing one opportunity to correct issues before refunds or price adjustments are considered.
• Exclusions: This warranty does not cover damage caused by acts of God (including but not limited to severe storms, hail, lightning, tornadoes, or flooding), preexisting conditions, structural defects, improper ventilation, damage from other trades or contractors, or any home fixtures or defects outside of HomeHero Roofing’s control that contribute to roof deterioration after installation.
• Roof Care: Regular maintenance, such as clearing leaves, debris, and excess snow, helps extend the life of your roof. Ask us about our low-cost maintenance plans.
• Warranty Claims: Must be made in writing within 7 days of discovery. Clients must provide access and opportunity for HomeHero Roofing to inspect and repair.
• Industry Standards Clause: Claims are reviewed at the sole discretion of HomeHero Roofing, based on recognized roofing industry standards.
• Transferable: This warranty is transferable one time to a new homeowner within the original 10-year warranty period, provided the transfer request is submitted in writing within 60 days of the property sale. Manufacturer warranties may have separate transfer rules which apply.

7. Customer Responsibilities

• Remove or secure fragile items before work begins.
• Keep pets and children away from the job site.
• Ensure the work area is accessible.
• Clients are responsible for permits unless otherwise agreed.

8. Liability

• Contractor’s liability is limited to the total contract price.
• Not responsible for incidental or consequential damages (e.g., interior leaks during storms, landscaping wear, drywall cracks).
• Clients should maintain homeowners’ insurance.

9. Pricing Adjustments

Pricing may be adjusted if material costs, tariffs, or supply chain issues change. Clients will be notified promptly.

10. Third-Party Interference

Any work by third parties on roofing systems without prior written consent voids warranties.

11. Privacy Policy

Personal information is used only to deliver services and improve customer experience. We do not share or sell data.

12. Intellectual Property

All content, logos, and materials on our website and marketing are the property of HomeHero Roofing PLLC. Please review our Privacy Policy for more information.

13. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failure to perform due to weather, natural disasters, pandemics, labor shortages, or supply disruptions.

14. Dispute Resolution

• Disputes are first addressed through good-faith negotiation.
• If unresolved, disputes are settled by binding arbitration in Illinois (AAA rules).
• The prevailing party may recover reasonable attorney’s fees and costs.

15. Governing Law

The laws of the State of Illinois govern these Terms.

16. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or amend these Terms at any time without notice. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance.
