1. Introduction

Welcome to HomeHero Roofing. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our services and website. You agree to be bound by these Terms by accessing or using our services. If you disagree with these Terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services

HomeHero Roofing provides residential roofing services, including but not limited to roof installation, repair, maintenance, and inspection. Our services are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason. We serve homeowners throughout the Chicagoland area, including Downers Grove and surrounding suburbs.

3. Quotes and Estimates

All quotes and estimates provided by HomeHero Roofing are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Prices change based on material costs, labor, and other factors. We will inform you of any changes before proceeding with the service.

4. Payment Terms

Payments for services are due as per the terms outlined in your contract. We accept checks and all major credit cards. Financing options are available for qualified residential customers. Payments are due in stages: typically, a 10% deposit upon contract signing, followed by progress payments, and a final payment upon completion of the work. Late payments may incur additional charges.

5. Scheduling and Cancellation

Services will be scheduled based on mutual agreement between HomeHero Roofing and the client. Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee. Rescheduling will be accommodated based on availability.

6. Warranties and Guarantees

HomeHero Roofing offers a limited warranty on workmanship and materials used in our services. The duration and terms of this warranty will be detailed in your service contract. This warranty does not cover damage caused by external factors such as weather, accidents, or improper maintenance. Additionally, manufacturer warranties on roofing materials, such as those provided by GAF and IKO, will apply where applicable.

7. Liability

HomeHero Roofing is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from using our services. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by the client for the services provided. Clients are advised to maintain proper insurance coverage for their property.

8. Customer Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for ensuring that the work area is accessible and free of obstructions. This includes moving vehicles, outdoor furniture, and any other items that may impede the work. For safety reasons, clients must also ensure that pets and children are kept away from the work area. Any necessary permits must be obtained by the client unless otherwise agreed upon.

10. Intellectual Property

All content, logos, and trademarks on our website and in our marketing materials are the property of HomeHero Roofing. Unauthorized use of any intellectual property is prohibited.

11. Force Majeure

HomeHero Roofing is not liable for any delays or inability to perform services due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, or other acts of God.

12. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the issue through informal negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Each party will bear its own costs associated with the arbitration.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois. Any legal actions or proceedings arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be exclusively brought in the courts located in Illinois.

14. Changes to Terms

HomeHero Roofing reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of our services following any changes indicates your acceptance of the new Terms.
